FAQs 

It's understandable to have questions regarding our products.  Here are some commonly asked questions from our customers that you may find helpful.  If your question isn't answered, please feel free to email us.

What type of metals are your jewelry pieces made from?

Our jewelry pieces are made from either Argentium Silver, 14kt gold filled, 14kt solid gold or titanium.

Will my jewelry pieces tarnish over time?

Although tarnishing is common with all metals with the exception of titanium, platinum, palladium and 24kt solid gold, our tarnish resistant.

I have sensitive skin, is your jewelry okay for me to wear?

All of our pieces are nickel free and great for those will metal sensitivities.

I'm not sure about my size, can you help?

Please see our sizing chart to help out with accurate sizing for your jewelry piece. It can be found here .

I'm sending a gift to someone, can you include a note or gift wrap it?

We're happy to do so!  We can include a free gift note with your order, just indicate the message in the message box upon checkout. There is an additional $4.00 fee/item for gift wrapping.

 

 Orders

We reserve the right to cancel your order at any time without reason.  If this happens you will receive a refund via the payment used at the time of purchase.  We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Diners Club, JCB.

 

Packaging

All orders come with secure packaging to protect jewelry items.  Each order will come in a box.  You will receive a muslin or silk bag with each jewelry piece you order.  Please note that in order cut down on waste, we will combine jewelry pieces in one box.  For example, if you order a necklace and ring you will receive one black box with two bags with the jewelry inside of the box. If you are gifting an item and would like a box per an item please indicate that in the message section of your order.

 

Shipping

Please place your orders by the following deadlines to ensure enough time to receive in time for the Holidays.  Please note that USPS is only guaranteeing delivery dates with the EXPEDITED SHIPPING option.

★Shipping Options★

Please note that the average turnaround for orders is 1-2 weeks. Once your package ships, you will receive an email with the tracking number. 

Due to the current climate with mail delivery we STRONGLY recommend upgrading to at least Priority Mail. Priority Mail offers the following:

  • Fast delivery time: 1-3 Business Days
  • Includes USPS Tracking and up to $50 of insurance with most shipments (restrictions apply)

Other shipping options include:

⚬Priority Express (overnight - 2 days)

⚬Priority Mail International (6-10 business days)

⚬Priority Mail Express International (3-5 business days)

FREE shipping ONLY applies to domestic packages sent 1st class via USPS and on orders $35 and up.  You do have the option of upgrading to Priority 2-Day or Priority 1-Day Express, shipping fees will apply accordingly. Please see the listing of the item for an estimated time of arrival of your package.  This is just an estimate and due to the current climate of our USPS it could take a little longer.

 

ALL international packages are sent via 1st Class International USPS (up to 14-21 business days for delivery), shipping rates will be included at checkout. You do have the option of upgrading to Priority International (6-10 business days) or Priority Global Express (up to 5 business days), shipping fees will apply accordingly.

★ LOST PACKAGES★:

WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST PACKAGES. YOU HAVE THE OPTION OF UPGRADING AND ADDING ADDITIONAL INSURANCE WHEN YOU PURCHASE YOUR ITEMS.

 

UPGRADE OPTIONS:

Priority Express automatically provides insurance up to $100 and Priority Mail automatically provides insurance up to $50.  We verify delivery via the tracking number assigned to each package.

★Delivery Address★

Please be sure the deliver address provided is current and accurate. We cannot intercept deliveries and re-route them once they are picked up by courier.  If you need to update your shipping address prior to your order shipping, please send us a message.

Note:

In light of the outbreak of COVID-19 we are continuously disinfecting our studios throughout the day. We have even made sure to sanitize our metal jewelry pieces prior to packaging. Your jewelry pieces will arrive in clean and sealed plastic bag inside of our regular square boxes. Since packages are handled by the postal service, we strong urge that you wash your hands with soap and water after opening the package and discard of the packaging immediately. We also suggest opening the package outside of your home.

 

 

Returns/Exchanges

All jewelry pieces are made to order.  Due to the nature that each piece is handmade, each piece may vary slightly, but the quality will be superb.  If you would like to return or exchange an item please click on the link below to process. 

  • All returns must be done within fourteen (14) days of receipt of merchandise. No returns on customized jewelry pieces.
  • Unless it's a mistake on our part, the buyer is responsible for the cost to ship merchandise back.  
  • Please contact customer@thepinklocket.com if you would like to return an item.
  • No returns or refunds on permanent bracelets or customized jewelry.

 

Flash Sales

Items sold during our flash sales are final sale.  If you have any questions regarding a jewelry piece, please send us a message prior to purchasing.  All orders will be shipped within 7-10 business days after the last day of the sale.

 

NOTE: There are no refunds or exchanges on items that have been customized or personalized.  Please email kamilah@thepinklocket.com before placing your order should you have any questions.
